Are In real life experiences (IRL) are the next big thing despite AI?
Society is starting to re value in person connection, communities, alternative healthcare and rural migration despite acceleration of digitization through AI

Over the last 10 years digitization has accelerated. AI is seemingly only going to accelerate this movement. They’ve been several key observations of the digital movement and now they are getting accelerated through AI
Dominance of Social Media - Facebook/X/Instagram/Tik Tok has carried a lot of the weight. Engagements on these platforms have sky rocketed. People are spending a lot more time (hours/week) on a digital screen. AI allows us to find more personalized and engaging content which pushes us to spend more time on a screen
Ease of information access - Google dominated the knowledge space for decades. AI is now a real threat to the dominance of google building a intelligence engine on top of contextual search giving every human being on earth a super intelligent assistant. Information search is seemingly solved.
Health care - With medical information at our finger tips and innovations in technology, life expectancy is at an all time high. AI is going to support doctors and nurses and drastically reduce misdiagnosis and going to personalize post care.
Mega Cities - Influx of people moving to big cities and an increasing number of mega cities. Big cities typically boosted a better life. Better food, jobs, healthcare, access to better network of people have been the major draws of living in a big city.
All of this seems great, yet something tells me that as a society there’s something else brewing. The following are all from my personal experiences and experiences of some of the people I talk to. ~10 people is not representative of society but these findings have been significant enough in my life to make me wonder if as a society we are seeing the start of a new exciting direction.
